I remember going to my first Pride celebrations that year as a newly out human (I felt like I'd just emerged from my cocoon...my wings were still wet!) 🦋 and feeling a bit of a fraud.

Last night I asked Mary to go for a drive with me and then up to the roof of my building to see in 360 degrees, the sparkling lights around us. I wanted to see it all one last time before I moved (today).

This is not smooth territory. It can even be treacherous and scary work

The middle of a transition is a period of uncertainty. It’s not clear what will be, where you will land, how things will turn out.

Outside the comfort of the familiar we must navigate new norms, new relationships and new challenges. New versions of SELF.

I’ve experienced many transitions in my life–we all do. And they all began with an ending.

When a new chapter in our life begins we'd love to celebrate.

Just so we keep it real here…MOVING IS A LOT. And transitions take you into a place of CHAOS + OVERWHELM.

Tonight is my last night on my own. And, of course, I’m not sleeping.
