Midwife to your creative spirit and your brave life

Creating the sacred space for you to bloom into who you want to become.

HI, I’M SUSIE

And I want you to live your best, most courageous, and meaning-filled life.

The thing is, I believe you already know how to do that. I believe you have more wisdom than you think you do.

But my work isn’t about giving you the answers.

It’s about helping you hear yourself again.

I’m a transformational creativity coach, expressive arts facilitator, artist, writer, and teacher. And through creativity, art journaling, courageous conversation, and the power of community, I'll help you quiet the static of fear, obligation, perfectionism, and everyone else's expectations, so you can hear the wisest part of yourself — and become brave enough to believe her.

I often call myself the midwife to your creative spirit because I'm here to help you rediscover the essential parts of yourself that may have gone quiet while you were busy building a life for everyone else.

Working with me is like having a heart-centered guide holding the light on your path while you explore your stories, your longings, your fears, and your dreams. I don’t have the answers for you. But I know how to create the conditions where your own answers begin to emerge.

And in that space, that’s where the magic happens. The insights, the honoring, the releasing, the healing.

This is transformation through creativity and witnessing.

But, you don't need to become someone new, you simply need enough quiet to hear yourself again — and get back to who you need to be.

A few things worth knowing about who I am and how I work.

I am a feminist and I am queer. Every space I hold is built on the belief that every person deserves dignity, safety, and the freedom to be fully themselves. That belief is not negotiable and it is not up for debate.

I believe in honest conversation and have real respect for complexity, but I'm not here to wrangle about whether all people deserve to be treated as fully human. I will not work with anyone who supports or enables fascism, white supremacy, or the Trump agenda. Some values are not compatible with the work I do, and I would rather be clear about that upfront than waste anyone's time.

I also have no interest in toxic positivity and will never ask you to look on the bright side while the world is on fire. What I offer instead is a grounded hope that looks hard things directly in the face and still finds a way forward.

If that resonates, I'm so glad you're here. If it doesn't, I understand, and I hope you find the space that's right for you.
