Moving forward

Feeling back

Touching places in

Myself

Only seen in

Bubble wrap

Saying goodbye

Cushioning the fall

Don’t break, please

Don’t break

Hand cramped

From the tape

Holding everything

Together

Important to touch

The tender places

Of grief

Knowing joy and

Anticipation

Await when

I land

But for now

All is tight in

My cramped

Distracted grasp
