A Sneak Peek Inside the Create Brave Collective! πŸ‘€

Light a candle on your altar. Shuffle your favorite oracle card deck. Get out your art journal. Check the list of materials, collect them from this drawer, that bin. Turn on your laptop. Click the link.

As the room starts to fill, you see faces you know. Friends. People who know your stories, who know where you are.

Check-ins begin, bopping around the β€œroom.” There’s room here for the struggles or triumphs with your aging parents, your partner, your grown children, your health.

They’re ready to celebrate every courageous step you take in creating a more meaningful life for yourself. No one expects you to do something big. They just remind you that you can trust yourself. And you remind them that they can trust themselves (oh how easy it is to say but not to do!).

A teaching. A sharing session. A conversation. You show up tired from your day, hoping for some inspiration. You leave content. Lighter.

There’s been laughter. You dipped your fingers in paint. You told a story, heard many more. You know you’re not alone.

Saying goodbye, you blow out your candle. Take another look at your art journal. Wash your hands. Turn off the light.

This is the Create Brave Collective.

This time of our lives has been called many things: the Third Act, the Crone Years, Elderhood, the Second Spring. Whatever you call it, it's unlike any season that came before. And it asks something different of us.

Inside the Create Brave Collective, everything revolves around three things:

DEEP SELF-DISCOVERY

We'll explore the questions that matter in this particular moment: fear, courage, identity, purpose, meaning, and choosing ourselves.

We'll art journal. We'll share our work. We'll gather for conversations around the virtual campfire.

This is where we'll practice getting quiet enough to invite our own wordless hearts to speak up about what's essential right now.

COMMUNITY WITNESSING

Being witnessed means being seen, known, and understood. It's sharing the tender parts of yourself with people who don't rush to fix you or judge you.

It's also learning to witness yourselfβ€”not with the quick drive-by glance we usually give ourselves, but with genuine curiosity.

Witnessing is not only a core piece of every Unfold Art program, but an essential element of the self-discovery that transpires for my clients. It wouldn’t be my program without it.

JOYFUL CREATIVITY

Remember when you were a kid and play was your work? Why not reclaim that kind of work now?

We'll gather for live (and recorded) technique lessons, co-arting sessions, and Q&As. We’ll let loose, get messy, and most of all, play! Think of these sessions as a masterclass in FUN.

We'll dust off the art supplies you've been saving for "someday" and discover new ways to use them. We'll also play with new materials chosen especially for our creative explorations.

Every month we'll gather for:

  • Co-arting sessions

  • Technique demonstrations

  • Art journaling prompts

  • Group coaching calls

  • Courage support circles

You can show up live or watch a replay. You can post your art in the gallery and reflect on the work of others in the collective. You can do it all or you can pick and choose. None of this is a check-the-box list or homework. But all are ways in to the most meaningful creativity, personal reflection, and community.

Imagine coming into a space full of women who don't need you to explain why this season of life feels different.

People who start out as strangers but before long become trusted companions, friends you look forward to seeing. Your people.
